"This branch of KFC is really nice with the floor to ceiling windows and clean dining area"
"Where two histories collide: Kentucky Fried Chicken has its roots in 1950's 'middle-America'. Ambrosio Cinecafè had it's beginnings in the turn-of-the-century 1900's, Italian 'upper-crust'. In essence this KFC is located in what was the atrium and café area of this exclusive, vintage 1911, high-end cinema. It's kitty-corner to the Porta Nuova train station. Renovation work has unfortunately been 'ongoing' for years with only this area anywhere near usable. We found the juxtaposition to be fascinating both philosophically and architecturally. To our amazement they seemed to fit. To have many common points of reference. To even have messages that worked well together. Essentially, to work in concert. ARCHITECTURE: Art nouveau meets retro 50's modern was our first impression. In any case both styles used here exhibit clean lines with playful little flourishes. The sense of space, of grand expanses, is emphasized. We also thought the bold colors and muted tones worked well together. It said to us, 'Welcome home, oh, by the way, the future begins now'. PHILOSOPHY: Both periods emphasized innovation and growth. Despite the fact that we haven't liked any of the short term specials, we applaud the attempts. The crossovers and cross pollination ideas surprised us, although the mass market execution left the end result a bit lame. One of us commented that the Korean sauce was, 'insipid'. SERVICE: Let's put it this way, usually good! Occasionally the food service people even appeared to be psychic. FOOD: KFC is KFC. Execution is usually excellent with an occasional hiccup. One strange psychological effect in this location only, the ordering kiosks don't seem out of place. They seemed to fit better. Be friendlier?!? So, come for the food if you will - but think about history as well."
"The staff were really helpful, friendly and quick. The restaurant is quite big and the music is amusing. I really recommend this place."
"Sara is the best one here! Very nice person, and professional! I would definitely come again! Highly recommended guys!"
"I visited the KFC in the city center and had a really good experience. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was fresh and tasty. Service was quick even though it was busy, and overall the restaurant itself left me satisfied. My only complaint is with the KFC app. It’s slow, confusing to use, and sometimes doesn’t show the right offers or nearby locations. Ordering through the app was frustrating compared to the smooth service I got in the restaurant. Also the name of the location is not searchable easily."
"During rush hours the food quality is good, but during off-peak hours it’s usually cold."
"All the foods were well cooked and fresh, potatoes are highly recommended!"
"The place is very near at my work so that i often eat here! The one that i love most is every tuesday the hot wings is only 10€ for 20 pcs. Thumps up."
